Offers

Complementary practice diaries.
Face-to-face
I teach from my home in Lancing on my beautiful Yamaha U3H.
My home benefits from plenty of nearby, free parking. The nearest bus stop is a minute's walk away.
Under 18s are welcome to be accompanied - a comfy chair awaits.
I have measures in place to maintain a clean teaching space. You can find my Covid-19 measures here.
Remote Lessons
I reserve remote lessons for the instance of illness preventing face-to-face lessons and for lockdown/isolation scenarios. Remote lessons are priced at my normal lesson fees.
Standing Order Payment Plan
The easiest and most popular way to book. Secure your lesson time and pay via standing order every four weeks for the following four week period. Lessons continue throughout school holidays. Recommended for continued progression and exam preparation.
Term-time Payment Plan
Ideal for those having weekly lessons during term-time who don’t wish to have regular or any lessons during school holidays. Monthly direct debit payments. A holding fee reserves your usual lesson time for you in your absence during the school holidays until the new term resumes.
Pay as You Book
A useful way to book if:
-
Your schedule doesn't allow you to commit to an ongoing lesson time
-
You are having lessons only during school holidays as additional support to your term-time curriculum
-
You wish to book lessons in addition to your usual lesson schedule with me
Payments are made in full upon booking.
Acoustic vs. Digital Pianos
I am happy to help choose the most suitable acoustic piano or digital piano for you. New and used acoustic pianos and new digital pianos can be bought locally with finance. However if you are looking for an affordable alternative, you may wish to consider a secondhand digital piano, as long as it has weighted keys (to emulate the key size, hammer action and touch sensitivity of an acoustic piano). Digital pianos can have headphones plugged in which can be advantageous.
Home Practice
You will receive a complementary practice diary for me to note down achievable objectives to be practiced for your next lesson and for you to log your practice sessions. Practicing will undeniably reinforce understanding and lesson content.
While it can't always be done, for most complete beginners, a minimum of 15 minutes most days will aide a steady progression.
